I just learned from the Shrinews of Tadmor on the passing of Mr. Pierce, and I am so saddened. A prayer of comfort comes your way to the family. I grew up in Tallmadge and went to school with Dave, one of my best friends in High School. I visited the Pierce home many times. Mr. and Mrs. Pierce were the "Ward and June Cleaver of Tallmadge". I have thought of them often over the years. I remember Warren and Spencer and Vic always together, and they were the "coolest". Dave and I worked at J&J and Payless Gas and both had souped up chevys. He helped me with a lot of tests in those years. I miss those times. Great, great memories. Later, I joined Adoniram Lodge #517 and Mr. Pierce became my Masonic Brother. I walked every step of those initiations just as Mr. Pierce had walked years before me, and that is why I had thought of him often over the years, hoping that they were all well. The Scythe of Time has now taken Mr. Pierce, and we shall miss him. The Pierce family has been a huge positive influence on my life. Mr. Pierce was a Veteran of the Greatest Generation of Men, and I salute him on this, 07 Dec, Pearl Harbor Day, and he was a Mason, Distinguished among the Community, and to these men before me, I call my Heros.

We were sorry to hear of Warren's passing.
Warren was, and always will be a part of our Navy family.
He served our country well, and will be dearly missed.
May the Grace and Peace of our Lord be with him, and may our Lord's Compassion and Love comfort and support the many loved ones who grieve from his loss.
Take comfort in knowing that his oars are at rest, he is with the Lord, and will be by your side always.
The Fleet would like to offer the following prayer in Warren's memory:
Heavenly Father, guide me while I sail from this world
into the Kingdom of Heaven.
You have been my navigator and my protector,
guiding, supporting, and comforting me.
Through your Love, Compassion and guidance I have now docked my vessel in your Kingdom, and await your command.
Father I thank you for a wonderful life, and ask that you permit me to be the navigator for my loved ones when they need guidance.
To be their chaplain when they need spiritual support,
and to hold them and comfort them when they feel alone or forsaken.
Let them feel my presence, as I will be with them always.
I ask this of you father,
Amen
