Ward Gordon Obituary

Ward Cassity Gordon
Ward Cassity Gordon was born August 7, 1922 and died Monday, March 20, 2006 at 11:30 p.m. at the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center while convalescing after suffering a stroke. Ward was a Chiropractor most of his life, practicing in Los Angeles, CA for more than 35 years before moving with his wife Gerry to Springville, UT in 1982.
His first wife Geraldine Richardson Gordon, preceded him in death on November 6, 1999. He has been married to Lilly Allen since November 16, 2002.
Ward was a member of the Spring Creek 1st Ward, serving in several capacities.
He is survived by his wife Lilly Allen of Springville, his six children: Carol Gordon Oertle of Springville, Linda Gordon Harding of Orem, Robert Ward Gordon of San Diego, Paul Thomas Gordon of Lincoln, Nebraska, Kathleen "Trinka" Gordon Evjen of Springville and Von William Gordon of Provo, Utah. Ward had 34 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren.
Services will be held at the Spring Creek 1st Ward, corners of 200 N. & 900 E. in Springville, Utah on Friday, March 24th, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. There will be a viewing held Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 E. 200 S. in Springville, and Friday at the church from 11:30 to 12:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Springville City Cemetery.
