Potempa, Walter A. of Niles, beloved husband of the late Rose (nee Brosky), dear father of Michael (Noreen), Ronald (Linda), Gary (Mary Pat), Gene (Roberta) and Dave Potempa, loving grandfather of Allison, Michael, Meredith, Tony, Bill, Connie, Erin, Daniel, Sarah, Emily, Jimmy, Pat, Mark, Beth, Tim, Matt and Kristy. Visitation Wednesday, 9 a.m., until time of service at 11 a.m., at the Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner St., Des Plaines, IL. Interment Maryhill Cemetery. I am sorry that I was unable to be in town for Walter's funeral. It's a shame my mother, Betty Rossbacher, could not be there. She has been home/in bed for almost 10 years; she would be there if she could. She sends her sympathy to the Potempa "boys" and families.
