With sympathy to the Johnson Family. Dr. Johnson was a true pioneer for maternal-child health in the city of Chicago, a mentor to residents and peers alike. Knowing him for the last 27 years here at the University of Chicago has empowered me strive for excellence, just as Dr. Johnson lamented.
