Wally Boyko Obituary

Wally was a key member contributing to the successs of the former Illinois Central Railroad. It was an honor to work together. May God bless & open a spot for Wally at the pool table in heaven!

Will really miss Wally. Every time he came to town he would look us up.Remember him being such a good basketball player.

I first met Wally at Riverside grade school shortly after he came to this country. His accent and lederhosen made him quite popular with all the little girls. We attended school together until our graduation in '61. He was a genuinely "good guy" and I will truly miss seeing him at our reunions. My heartfelt sympathy to Lee and the family.

I am sad to see that Wally is gone. I played basketball beside Wally in High School and his confidence and skill inspired the entire team. What a special player he was. When it came to shooting a basketball Wally was in a league of his own. I was in awe and I will never forget him.
May God's peace be with Lee and all of Wally's family.

It has been many years since I last saw Wally - 25th class reunion. He was quite the athlete at EHS and will always be remembered for the game he played. God bless!

I worked with Wally for many years on the IC and have fond memories of him. He was a good hard-working member of our IC family. I'll keep him in my prayers.

I went to school with Wally. He knew how to be his own person even back then. I celebrate his life.

We worked through some tough times at the railroad. An unforgettable character....
