Cheri gave so much love and devotion to her mother. She was always there for her, no matter what time of the day. I know that her mother is smiling at her little angel for taking such good care of her while she was alive. Whether taking her to bingo, to church, to reunions, out to eat, Cheri was always there for her mother.

Hi Larry, Mike K. emailed this morning about your mom. I am so sorry for you and your family. After many years of being a mom myself I think back to going with you to pick her up at the hospital night shift and wonder how she worked so hard and so late with all those kids! God bless her and your family. Eve

Ginnie and I were class mates at St. Anne's. Those days she was "Klem" to us. We worked hard but had lots of fun.

No words can express my sorrow in the passing of your beloved Mom. She was so much a part of our lives....as were all of you. There is not enough space to mention all the sad and beautiful time we shared together. She was an amazing lady and raised an amazing family. So many years have passed but you all were thought of so often. My deepest sympathy on behalf of myself and the Pos children. Bless you all!

This was a woman who not only knew what joy was, she made certain that everyone around her knew it too! I will always hear her melodious laugh in my heart and remember my "Auntie Gen" with warmth and tenderness. There is NO doubt in my mind that she is in the Express Lane to Heaven and that she and God will share many a melodious laugh together! R.I.P. Auntie Gen

So sorry to hear about your mother's passing.I remember the kindness she showed to me and all the other kids on the block. I will always remember the sticks of Wrigleys gum out of the big jar in the kitchen that she handed out to us all, no matter if we had skinned our knees or not. Ginny was a warm, kind soul and her memory will live on through the family that she leaves behind. God Bless...Holly (McComb) Logan

To All of My Extended Skarr Family,
I feel your loss. Your Mom was so very special to me as I was growing up. I am so grateful I saw her this past Mothers' Day and was able to enjoy her even more. On that day in May, I stood out there in the now empty backyard, remembering where the swing set was, where we played croquet and volleyball..lost in beautiful memories. Because of her, those times will always be held deep in my heart. "Y'all" be strong and may God guide each of you through this very difficult time. I am holding all of you ever so close.
