Virginia Bridges Obituary

Virginia Margaret Bridges, 79, of Wytheville died Monday, Dec. 19, 2005. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, Dec. 21, at 1 p.m. at the Barnett Funeral Chapel in Wytheville with the Rev. Kevin Fiorini officiating. Interment will be in West End Cemetery, Wytheville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kelly Roosevelt Bridges; and a son, Dennis Wayne Bridges. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Phyllis and Gary Miller of Crockett; three sons and daughter-in-law, Roger and Susie Bridges of Rural Retreat, Tony Bridges of Lynchburg and Todd Bridges of Arlington; a stepgrandson, Scott Spraker; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Shirley Nester, Becky Phillips and Cheryl Turpin, all of Wytheville, and Danielle Armbrister of Max Meadows. The family will receive friends Tuesday, Dec. 20, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Barnett Funeral Home in Wytheville. Barnett Funeral Home in Wytheville is in charge of the arrangements.
