Virginia Bowman Obituary

Bowman, Virginia R. (nee Banic), passed away peacefully in South Suburban Hospital on January 27, 2010. Born on November 23, 1932 in Chicago, IL. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Donald R. Bowman, brother Thomas Banic, children, Mark L. (Mary Lou) Bowman, Lisa M. (David) Festin, and the late Bradley Bowman, grandchildren, Jennifer Bowman, Alexis (Mark) Bogdan, Katie Bowman, and Nicole (Chuck) Simmons. Ginger will be waked at Markiewicz Funeral Home, P.C., 108 Illinois St., Lemont, on Sunday, January 31, 2010, from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. Lying in State Monday, February 1, 2010, from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass at 10:30 a.m. at SS. Cyril & Methodius Church, 608 Sobieski St., Lemont. Interment Parish Cemetery. A kind, loving wife, mother and grandmother, Ginger will be missed by all.
