Vi was my Mother's Sister, my Aunt. She was one of my best friends. We were always close. She did not have children of her own, so she kind of adopted my brothers and myself. In the past couple of years, it was my priviledge to be near her while she was ill. We got to spend many days and nights together that we would not have otherwise. It was her gift to me. I will never forget what a sweet thoughtful special kind of woman she was. She was my mentor and my inspiration for how to look at life. She loved life and did not know the meaning of giving up. I will miss her terribly. I Loved her so much. The world is a lesser place without her.
