Vincent was a Triton College RSVP volunteer in River Grove for the last few years; helping Students with Conversation English. Vincent always but a smile on my face. He talked about his wife, his children and of course his grandchildren. He was my favorite volunteer and I will miss him terribly. My sincere condolences to the family.

Your father/grandfather was a great man! I worked at Morton Salt for many years and he was one of the first people I met, and I thought to myself that this must be a terrific place to work because of the warm welcome that he extended to me. I also was a member o0f the Morton Quarter Century Club that your dad was not only a member of, but also the president. I will always remember Vince as a very friendly and soft-spoken man and a good friend. May he rest in the cradle of God's arm forever.

I will miss Vince LaPietra's smile. I knew him and Mary, his wife, from the Northlake Community Theater they started in the basement of the Police Department. They were both loving, generous and kind. God Bless them both.
