Victor Zaro Obituary

I have many fond memories of Vic, I have known him since I was a baby. He and his wife Dorothy were great friends of my grandparents, Tom and Carole Braun. As I grew older, like many others, I spent my time as a bus person, then waitress then hostess at the Summer West under Vic's guided eye.

Vic was a kind and gentle man, and shared his lovely voice at the funeral of my grandparents - a memory that is still in my heart. Cheers to you Vic, the Ave Maria will always be my favorite. God Bless you, may you rest in peace

Vic was a wonderful man. We developed a friendship with him in Hagar Shore. Lot of class, laughter and kindness, along with a little teasing now and then.

My uncle was a kind and quiet spoken man. I had the opportunity to sing with him several times growing up and enjoyed each time immensely. I will miss him.

i am so sorry about vics passing. he played piano at our home in chucago in the middle 50s whenmi was 16 and 17 years old. being a piano player we saw the places summerset and summerwest back then he and dorothy were our friends my dad knew vic from the casino cafe of tomorrow at 75th and halsted street where my dad had the band for eight years until they had a fire in 1960. my dad is deceased 13 years and we have lived in california since 1979. my dads name was nick craig and i am his daughter contact me if you want

Vic was a good friend of mine since 1967 and once I started going to Acapulco I would also see him there.

His many friends in Acapulco intend on meeting at Alfonso's on Saturday to have a few drinks and salute his life.

He was a taleted man and also a good friend of my mother-in-law, Lorraine Hickey.

He will be missed.

I have many fond memories of Vic as a friend and partner to my Dad (Razz Weinstock). My sister and I were very young girls when Dad hired Vic to play the piano for him. That was at least 50 years ago. Eve Brockwell Weinstock and Vic shared their Feb birthdays every year. Of course Vic preferred Acapuco in Feb. He and Dorothy were great people.
He will be missed.
