Asbury, Victor D. age 76, US Navy Veteran WWII. Beloved husband and best friend for 58 years of Josie B. (nee Lowe), loving father of Barbara (Rev. Johnny B.) Arnold, Allen Wayne (Betty), P. Renee (Keith) Frentzel, Victoria Lynn (Steve) Peacock, and Kenneth Leigh (Robyn) Asbury, proud grandfather of 18, great grandfather of 13, fond brother of Dosha Hicks, Georgia Harless and Flora Virmillion, dear fishin' buddy of Coop. Past master and member of Oak Lawn Lodge #1166 AF & AM Medinah Temple and Southwest Side Shrine Club. Resting at Zimmerman & Sandeman Funeral Home, 5200 W. 95th Street, Saturday, 4 p.m. until time of Masonic service 7:30 p.m. followed by religious service at 8 p.m. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorials made to the Shriners Hospital for Children, 2211 N. Oak Park Ave., Chicago, IL, 60707 would be appreciated. Brother you will be missed by all, but never forgotten.
I trasured the time we meet at Oak Lawn Lodge 1161 and how kind you were to me eventhough I was from Evergreen Park Lodge 1171 at the time.
You accepted me as a long time brother and friend.
God be with you and your family.
