Veronica Ulrich Obituary
Veronica "Ann" Quillin Ulrich, 87 years old, passed peacefully on July 18, 2021. Beloved wife for 64 years to the late Raymond F. Ulrich; Loving mother to the (late) Brian F. Ulrich, Raymond P. Ulrich (Mary), and Kimberly Kazmierczak (Jim); Happy grandmother of Raymond J. Ulrich, the late Jason Kazmierczak, Rachel Hernandez, Jeffrey Kazmierczak, and Lauren Ulrich; great- grandmother of five; Daughter of the late Jack & Gladys (Byrnes) Quillin. Welcomed in Heaven by her siblings, Robert Quillin, Mary Rozga, and Joseph Quillin; Dearest sister of Frank Quillin of Arizona. Aunt of 15 "favorite Irish" nieces and nephews. 1951 Graduate of St. Augustine High School; retired employee of Cook County. Ann was a founding member of St. Rene Goupil Church and dedicated many years to their choir, Mother's Club, Altar & Rosary Society, and Senior's Club; member of Garfield Ridge Senior's Club; Member of VFW Women's Auxiliary. Ann enjoyed camping with family and friends at the Wilmington Recreation Club for 55 years. Visitation at Church on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 from 11:30 AM until time of Mass at 12:30 AM at Two Holy Martyrs Parish, St. Rene Church. We will go in procession from the church to Resurrection Cemetery. Celebrate Ann by wearing your Irish Green or purple and pink. I was a young girl when I met the Ulrich family on 63rd place. They ended up being great friend of my parents, Ray and Louise Subka and the rest of the "six houses from the corner" on 63rd place. I mostly remember her working at Wrigley Field and me ironing the boys cotton shirts they wore to St. Rene. R.I.P. the Ulrich family.

Please accept my condolences on the passing of your mother. It looks like she was the last of the "old " neighborhood to pass. We had some great times there.

Our thoughts of comfort and condolences are sent to the whole family. Ann, "Gramma Ann", was such a part of our WRC world for so many years. She is present in my camper whenever we look at and use her gifts to us; the hostas, blankets, and cups. While we can't be there to share in celebrating her life, please know you are in our thoughts and we are thinking of you all.
