Vera Grossman Obituary
Grossman, Vera (nee Tumpeer), beloved wife of the late Eli, cherished mother and best friend of Ilene Grossman (Bruce Amsterdam) and Melissa (Douglas) Adler, treasured Gram of Julie and Reed, dear sister of the late Doris Jane Goldmann. Funeral services Thursday, 1 p.m., at The Piser Chapel, 9200 N. Skokie Blvd. (at Church St.), Skokie. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Vera's name to US Holocaust Memorial Museum, 100 Raoul Wallenberg Place SW, Washington, DC 20024, or The Lyric Opera of Chicago, 20 N. We have nothing but wonderful memories of Vera and Eli. We share your sorrow but hope your hearts are soon filled with the memories of joyful times as you celebrate a life well-lived at Vera's passing. A most elegant Lady and classy Gentleman again joined together in peace. Mentors for us and for all. The family is in our prays for comfort and peace.
