I could never thank God enough for bringing VaNessa into our lives. Our organization knew nothing about music programs, working with parents or working with young children. VaNessa built the Music is Magic program. She changed the lives of families. She also connected us to HPSI which gave us Black instructors. She also brought in Binta to provide a the babies a role model. More than anything she did everything with love. A love that demanded everyone to be on point for our children. Thank you VaNessa! You made our world better.

To Rev Manar and Binta Kai,
I know she loved you both fiercely because every time we spoke, I could see her face light up from deep within even when we talked over the phone as she spoke of you both. That love will be with you always. She was such a precious friend to me. Always an encouraging word, kind and loving. Our relationship began as her being a mentor to me but we quickly became friends/sister. May her legacy of love, kindness and encouragement carry you through this time. I know she is with the Lord so even though I'm sad that she's gone from this earth, I am celebrating too.
Rev. Manar and Binta Kai, may you be surrounded by those who love you fiercely and feel God's precious presence in them. I will continue to keep you both in my thoughts and prayers. My phone number is in her contact list. Love, Lori.
