The days go by so fast...thank god for memories. Not a day goes by that I don't think of you Tricia. I still have the Pic of you and Val on my desk since you gave it to me in May of 2003 from Tamara's Party. I miss you dearly. It amazes me how deeply you affected peoples lives with your love and smile. You are truly an Angel!!!

My thoughts and prayers go to Tricia's family. I went to high school with Tricia and we had a couple of classes together. I thought she was wonderful, and I have always been curious to see how she was doing throughout the years, after graduation. I'm so sorry she left us. She will always be remembered.

Wow five years, how time flys. It must be about six years then since i saw you in Vegas. Remember our trip to Lake Mead? We were out in the middle of the desert, and you , Tamara and your friends were in that van, we thought you were going to run out of gas, it was 115 degrees out. WE finally made it to the lake and we all went wading in the water. What a day. After you and Tamara left , i bragged to your cousins how beautiful you and Tamara were. Im sitting here with a big smile on my face thinking about that day, and how glad i was to get the chance to see you and Tamara again.

Its' been awhile since I have written anything on here. I have had so many emotions & so many feelings. But none I felt I could put into words to explain how much I miss you. I usually put poems on here or just a note to say I love you. But everytime I came on here to do so it always felt so hard to say what I wanted.



Every morning on the way to work I come to this one certain stop light. I am not sure why this stop light effects me, but at this light I have all these feelings flush thru me of thoughts of you. And every morning I am sad to begin the day. I know I should turn that around to happy thoughts. But lately, I can't seem to bring myself to that.



Tricia, I miss you very much. Our time together was way to short. I hope you know how much you meant to me & how much the time we did have together made me feel. You were truely an angel while you were here & now even more so away.

Tricia has been teaching Madison new tricks. Her latest lesson: “See Food” (most of you who knew Tricia know what this is).



They other morning I was feeding Madison her breakfast. I would give her a spoonful of oatmeal & she would look up towards the ceiling away from me & smile. This went on for a few more spoonfuls. I asked Madison what she was smiling at. Madison looked up, smirked, turned to me & opened her oatmeal filled mouth.

I am standing upon the seashore.A ship at my side spreads her white sails to the morning breeze and starts for the blue ocean.She is an object of beauty and strenght.I stand and watch her until at legnth she hangs like a speck of white cloud just where the sea and sky come to mingle with each other. Then someone at my side says:"There,she's gone!" "Gone where?" Gone from my sight.That is all.She is just as large in mast and hull and spar as she was when she left my side and she is just as able to bear her load of living freight to her destined port. Her diminished size is in me,not her.And just at the moment when someone at my side says:"There,she is gone!" there are other eyes watching her coming,and other voices ready to take up the glad shout:"Here she comes!" And that is dying. I miss you and love you....my heart still doesn't accept the reality of your being gone.Still, I value the time I had with you as a baby,young adult,and as a fine young woman. At legnth we will all see you again,God willing.Untill then,you are in my mind and heart.May God hold you gently in His hand.

I havent seen any new entries lately so I thought Id come in and say hello. Its summer and this is when we'd usually go and have our bbq's, go to the beach, or find some new cute outfits to wear. Your probably still doing that up there. Its most likely always nicer up there and u have better outfits to chose from, though. Thinking of you often!

Madison has been saying "who's this" lately. Which we often say to her when we point out pictures to her or of herself in the mirror.



Well Sunday my mom & I were sitting on the couch with Madison, she reached over the back of the couch with her arm extended to a picture of Tricia on the bookshelf & said, "Disha". Last nite I took Tricia's picture off the fridge at the Sobbe house & I said, "Who's this?". Madison said, "Disha" & then, "Dishie" soon after. She was carrying Tricia's picture around the house saying, "Disha". She then went & put Tricia's picture in the cupboard she likes to play in. We said, "Where's Tricia?". She went over to the cupboard, took the picture out & held the picture out in front of her.



She definately knows who her Auntie Tricia is!!!

Something that put a smile on my face this morning:



I was on my way to Tamara, Gerrie & Ron's house this morning. Gramma Gerrie was going to watch Madison for the day. Madison & I were listening to a cd Bob made for me full of some of my favorite dance songs. On came a song Tricia & I danced to last summer one nite out at Tooters. While listening to the song I hear Madison giggling in the back seat. I look in the rear view mirror to see what she is giggling at, thinking she was playing with her toys. I look back to see her looking up at the bright blue morning sky kicking her legs & moving her arms in the air.

I came into work today after a very long and hard weekend. I have a day-by-day tear off calendar at work that has quotes about friends in it with black and white pictures of children.



I came upon August 16th:

It has a picture of a little girl in a white dress on a sandy beach in front of the water holding up a vase of daisies (Madison's birth flower).

It reads: "The best way to celebrate life is to share your own unique self with the world."
