Conway, Tom age 80, U.S. Army Veteran, native of Lixnaw, County Kerry, Ireland, devoted husband and best friend of 52 years to Peggy (nee Slattery), loving father of Jim (Nora), Margaret, Eileen (Pat) Gaynor and Tom (Ann) Conway, special "Pops" to Dee Marek, doting grandpa to Sean, Liz, Hope, Evie, Grace and Lucy Conway, loving brother of Chris, Jack, Bidden, Dolly and the late Maig, Pats, Jim, Billy, Mick and Kitty, loving uncle, grand-uncle, great-grand uncle and cousin of many. Family and friends will gather for a Memorial Mass on Saturday, August 2nd, at 9:30 a.m., at St. Michael Church, 14327 Highland Ave., Orland Park. Interment Ireland. Long-standing member of the Kerry Association and Gaelic Park. Please omit flowers. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105. Hey Eileen, all the times riding home from Waukeegan and you talking to Peg I feel that in some strange way I knew your father.
