Beloved husband of Mabel (nee Counelis), devoted father of George (Margaret) and Steve (Pauline), loving grandfather of Elaina and Anthony (mother Sophia Argires), Tommy and Nikolas, dear brother of James and the late Dan (the late Helen), the late Katherine (the late Spelios) Dravillas, the late Eugenia Kazantzis and the late Gus Argires, fond brother-in-law of Dr. James (Anna) Counelis of Oakland, CA, uncle to many. Lying in state Thursday, 9:30 a.m. until time of services 10:30 a.m., at SS. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 111th & Roberts Rd., Palos Hills, IL. Interment Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday, 5 to 9 p.m., at Blake-Lamb/Becvar Funeral Home, 11201 S. Harlem Ave., Worth. Retired partner of Anton-Argires Inc., formerly located at the Old South Water Market. Archon of the Greek Orthodox Church, recipient of the Medal St. Paul, Past President and Chairman of the Board of SS. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church, Past President of Achladokombites St. Demetrios, life member Chicago Chapter of AHEPA, member of A.A.O.N.M.S., life member of Hellenic Lodge #1084 AF & AM, and Past Patron of the former Hellenic O.E.S. Dear Argires, Our deepest sympathy. "Mr Tommy" was an example of class and decorum. He loved his faith, his family and his work. His pride in his family, his wife, his two wonderful sons, his Church and his Greek heritage were boundless. My image of him on South Water Market dressed in a proper necktie will always stay with me. He was trully a man I respected. "Mr Tommy", I hope we can share a meal again when we meet on the "other side"
