It has been one year and Todd's passing seems like it was just yesterday. I will never forget the first smile, tear, burb, laugh, crawling, walking, running and all the things that made Todd who he was. I still see some of you and others are in my thoughts. Todd is with each and every one of us, always will be. We will all be together again one day, but for now he is taking care of his grandma and grandpa, whom he loved so very much. Thank you again to all who knew Todd, loved him and was his friend.

Todd.. to a brilliant and energetic person. I know that you loved your hockey and your bike. I know that you are in a better place now and there is no pain and no suffering to endure. You graced me with your goofy ways for sometime...along with your witty t-shirts.= ) I hope and pray that we shall meet again, but until then may God forever hold you in the palms of his hands. Your smile is what I hold on to, and will always remember. This is not a good bye....but a catch ya later!
Angela, you and yours are in my thoughts and prayers and please let me know if there is anything that I can do for you..Todd was a great person to know and he will forever be in my heart. You raised him well, and for it showed in his imprint that he left on others...Take care and God Bless...

Memories of Todd
I remember the first time I saw Todd. I had driven my daughter Kelly to his house to meet him. She got out of the car and I saw this tall lankly kid with a baseball cap on walking this little dog. I thought what a cute kid.
After that time I saw Todd many times. Once when she was sick he came over with flowers for her. The thing I noticed most about Todd was his beautiful smile.
I rememeber seeing him at the rink a lot. Kelly would go there for practice with her precision team, or for an ice show.
I remember one of those times when we were walking by (Todd was on the ice in the middle of a hockey practice) he skates over to her and practically jumps the plexiglass to get to the top and hang there just so he could talk to her. LoL he made me laugh, and he was always smiling.
I remember going with Kelly to a few of his Hockey games..........Damn he was good too.
I can't ever imagine what the family is going through with him gone, but know he was remembered by all and I pray for you..........

To Todd: You were like a younger brother to me, big guy. My life isn't the same without you. I miss being able to call you to meet out somewhere. I miss just sitting around at work talking with you. I miss sharing old stories with you & laughing so hard we cried. I just miss everything about you, man. I’m so sorry I wasn’t there to be with you during your last living hours, but I know even today you’re still with me, with us all. I pray that I may use your attitude in life as an example for my own. It seemed as though you were always smiling, laughing, making light of extremely hard situations. I can’t think of one person who considered you an enemy. I can think of dozens who called you “friend.” We remember you every day, Todd, and talk about you often. You touched so many lives during your brief time amongst us. There are so many things I wish I could say to you in person, but I’ll have to take solace in my true belief that you know how I felt, and still feel, about our friendship. I love you, my brother, and pray we meet again.

Dear Sandy, Bob, Elizabeth and Peter,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. What a courageous young man Todd was! Every time we saw him, he had a smile on his face and a kind word for everybody. And after every time we spoke with him, we were determined to be better people, kinder, more patient, more appreciative of what we have. Todd was a good role model for young people and we are so blessed and happy to have known him.

Anyone that met Todd had no trouble understanding why he had so many friends. Everywhere he went, even when it seemed the most unlikely of places, he always knew someone. His presence never went unnoticed. He always made sure everyone was having a good time. You couldn’t be with Todd and not have fun. His spirit was and still is an inspiration to me.
I know he will continue playing hockey up there with as much love as he did down here. I will never forget the time I went to go watch one of his games when he was playing for Loyola. I kept on joking about how I wanted to see a fight (it was hockey, right?). Wouldn’t you know that in the final seconds of the game, he started a fight…just to amuse me! Whether it was him watching my ice shows or bringing me flowers when I was sick, he was always such a sweetheart with everyone’s best interests at heart.
Todd had my most favorite smile ever. It always just lit up his entire face. I loved to see him smile. And as much as I will miss Todd, the first boy I ever kissed, I take comfort in knowing that he’s watching over us. Todd, you will always be in my heart and thoughts and, as promised, I will even try sushi for you! I will take with me nothing but the fondest of memories and, of course, love and admiration.
