DEAR KAUFMANN FAMILY,
IT BROKE MY HEART TO HEAR OF TIM'S PASSING. UNFORTUNATELY I FOUND OUT AFTERWARD AND WAS NOT ABLE TO MAKE THE WAKE AND FUNERAL. I KNEW TIM IN THE LATE 70'S EARLY 80'S. HE WAS SO FUNNY AND NICE. I WAS TAUGHT BY HIS AUNTS, SISTER'S ARMELA AND GERALDA AT ST RITA G.S. ONCE WE MET WE BECAME GOOD FRIENDS UNTIL OUR LIVES WENT SEPERATE WAYS. I'LL ALWAYS REMEMBER HOW GREAT A MAN HE WAS. IT WAS A HONOR TO KNOW HIM AND BE HIS FRIEND. MAY YOUR HEARTS HEAL AND WHEN WE SPEAK OF TIM MAY WE ALWAYS FIND OUR MEMORIES JOYFUL TO THE POINT WHERE WE AREN'T SO SADDENED AT HIS PASSING BUT GREATFUL FOR BEING PART OF HIS LIFE. REST IN PEACE TIM.
LOVE, MAUREEN HAYES

Beside being a older cousin (pretend) Tim was a co-worker (cable tv back in 1982), class mate (Brother Rice), teammate (both of us were goalies on the soccer team), he was a friend.
Seperated by a few states and miles, I can still see the smile.
My thoughts and prayers went out to all when I heard of his illness and remain with you during this time of great sadness for each of you in his family.
