Thomas Tatera Obituary

Tatera, Thomas R. 78, of Grayslake, passed away on September 23, 2012. He was born February 12, 1934 in Chicago, IL, the son of the late Bernice and Edward (nee Brozska) Tatera. He was also a Navy Veteran serving from 1953-57. He is survived by his cats, Missy and Muffin; Aunt Leonore Scholes; nephews, Mitchell, Michael, Christopher (Tammy) Diamond and many additional nephews, nieces and cousins. He was also the cherished brother-in-law to Connie (Collins) Kerulis, Mary (Kerulis) Jackson and Christine Kerulis. Tom is preceded in death by his wife, Adrienne (Kerulis); sister, Alice (Tatera) Diamond and nephew, Lawrence Diamond. Friends of the family may join them for memorial visitation at STRANG FUNERAL CHAPEL & CREMATORIUM, 410 E. Belvidere Rd., Grayslake, IL 60030 on Thursday Sep. 27, 2012 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Memorial mass will commence at 10:30 a.m. on Friday September 28, 2012 at St. Mary of the Annunciation Catholic Church, 22333 W. Erhart Road, Mundelein (Fremont Township), IL 60060. Inurnment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery in Mundelein. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, 424 East 92nd Street, New York, NY 10128 or www.aspca.org.
