I have just learned of the passing of Tom Sweeney in 2005. Great guy who I remember always had a smile on his face and a friendly greeting for everyone. Growing up on Carpenter Street would not have been as rewarding without the friendship of the Sweeney family but in particular Tom Sweeney's sincerity. God Bless you Tom!

This entry comes a year late because I have just learned of Mr. Sweeney's death in 2005. Glad I could make an entry into his Guest book. Mr. Sweeney was such a great guy -- everyone in my family really enjoyed his company. I have so many wonderful memories of Carpenter street and being at the Sweeney's house. I'm visualizing the Sweeneys and my folks, the Leonards, up in heaven right now playing a game of pinochle and having lots of laughs. My sympathy to all of the Sweeneys on his passing.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in the loss of your Dad and my very special Brother-In-Law. Tom so dearly loved his Sister, Louise, my wife. His never-ending devotion to family and church was an inspiration to all who knew and loved him.

Please accept my deepest sympathy in the loss of Uncle Tom. We had become great friends. His faith was a wonderful blessing for him. I will miss him as I'm sure you will also. I'm glad he got to Danny's wedding last July. He had a great time.

My mother lived in the building across from Tom. She died a few years ago. In the time that she lived there, Tom was a wonderful neighbor to her. I will say a prayer for him, and ask God to bless him.
