Thomas Shimko Obituary

Shimko Sr., Thomas L. age 86, of Orland Park, former longtime resident of North Riverside, beloved husband of the late Mildred (nee Bernhardt), loving father of Thomas Jr. (Gayle) and Sharon Shimko, dear grandfather of Lindsay and Thomas Shimko III, preceded in death by three sisters and five brothers, fond uncle of several nieces and nephews. Owner of the former Shimko's Service Station in Berwyn for 43 years. Family and friends will be received at the Kuratko Funeral Home, 2500 S. DesPlaines Ave., North Riverside, on Tuesday, from 3 to 9 p.m. Funeral services Wednesday, 10 a.m., at the funeral home with Reverend Benjamin Ball officiating. Entombment Woodlawn Mausoleum.
