i'll miss you tom, i'm so sorry you didn't pull through this-- it was too heavy and you fought like a champion! i feel grateful to have known you the short time i did, and in such dire circumstances-- but you let me in, in your endearing way-- when i next go to alcatraz, i'll hold you dear and near to my heart... bye tom. ~alice

My brother and I would always play with Tommy( he will always be Tommy to me) when we would visit our Grandmother. Since Grandma lived across the street, it did not take long for my brother and I to make our way over to see Tommy Scalia. He always made us laugh. He loved life. I probably learned to love and laugh from Tommy.
My God comfort your family with your faith and with the roses of memories.

My condolences to the Scalia family upon the passing of Tom. His father was my grandmother's landlord on 31st Street and we often would play together as kids. Tommie was always great fun and the thought of him brings a smile to my face even now.
Sincerely,
Michael S. Segvich, CFC
