He was a good husbad, father, and he was loved by all who knew him. We will never forget Tom. My deepest respect and condolences to Anne Marie and the boys.

I really appreciate the opportunity to have known Tom over the past few years. He was the first person I met on my first day at Finley Dunnes. Since that day, Tom has been one of my favorite people. He had the best outlook on life and was one of the most truly genuine and generous people I have ever met. I'll never forget and always looked forward to his trademark greeting "What's Cookin?" and how he was always interested in what was going on in my life. Everything was always great with him, and nothing ever got him down. A true joy to be around. Like Joe said, I feel I am a much better person today for having known him, and we are all blessed to have him looking down on us.

On Nov 21st, 1996 I sold my first beers as an owner of Finley Dunne's to Kenny Miller (the previous owner) and Tom Randell. For the last ten years, Tom and his friends have been meeting at Finley Dunne's after playing handball at the YMCA. There are many of our guests who remember the guys at the corner of the bar. Over the years, many of the handball guys have moved, but Tom, Mike, and a few others have always been here along with the others in spirit. The most genuine person on the planet will truly be missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Anna Marie, Tom, Tim, their families, and all his handball and painting gang! Like everyone else who knew him, I am a better person for knowing Tom Randell. God Bless, I know there are plenty of beers and cigars with you now!

As others will repeatedly say all week long.....Tom was a good guy. I enjoyed the many years working with him in 018. Our conversations regarding The Cubs, golf, the florist business, and getting the job done in 018 were always pleasant. I'm sorry for his passing, but when you look to the evening sky, you'll see it a little brighter, as a new star has brightened the heavens above.
