O'Connell, Thomas E. beloved husband of Eleanor (nee Robinson), dear father of Thomas (Maureen), Julia (Donald) Nowak, Daniel, Jean (Andy) Costin, Timothy (Noelle), Rhonda Verback and Ronald Verback, loving grandfather of Ryan, Reid, Kellie, Michelle, Mary Eleanor, Briana and Maggie, fond son of the late John and Agnes O'Connell, loving brother of Betty (the late Joseph) Valek, William (Mildred) and the late Jack (Mary), devoted foster parent to many children. Member of Local #134 I.B.E.W. Retired from University of Illinois at Chicago, Visitation Friday, 3 to 9 p.m. Funeral Saturday, 11:15 prayers from Kenny Brothers Funeral Home, 3600 W. 95th St., for a Mass at Most Holy Redeemer Church at 12 p.m. Interment St. Mary Cemetery.
