Father Munster certainly will be missed. He was a wonderful friend and guide for nearly 60 years. He enjoyed being a Priest as well as a sports fan. I grew up in St. Vincent's Parish and was three years behind him in school. He has left me with so many happy memories of visits, etc. and I can still hear him laughing today over something funny. I am sure he is having many laughs with all the Irish from St. Vincent's today up behind those pearly gates. He certainly has merited a rich reward.

We will all remember Father Munster, Father Brennan and Father Meek from the De Paul Academy class of '57. Does anyone know if Father Thomas J. Meek is still with us?

We will miss Father Munster terribly. He said our wedding mass for us in 2003 and was a dear friend of our family. We shared a lot of good times together at Notre Dame football games and parties.

It was indeed a privilege to know and care for Fr. Thomas Munster. His impact on the staff and the Residents of the Little Sisters of the Poor at St. Mary's Home will not be forgotten. We feel that we have an intercessor for us in Heaven.

I was fortunate to have spoken with Fr. Munster recently while attending the 50th reunion of the Class of 1957 from DePaul Univesity.
He and I go back over fifty years to when he taught Latin at De Paul Academy. Our friendship remained over all the years and distance. My life is better for having him as an early and as a continuing part of it. I know many of my Academy classmates feel the same.
I hope that he will remember me as he takes his place at the heavenly altar. I will pray that his body and soul will now receive the blessed rewards he so duly earned.
May he rest in the peace of Christ.

We have another advocate in heaven, for surely Father Tom is in the arms of the Lord.
