Monahan, Thomas M. 74, formerly of Chicago, IL, U.S. Army Veteran of WWII, beloved husband of the late Margaret, loving father of Michael P. (Gabriela) of Chicago, Thomas A. of Phoenix, AZ, Catherine E. of Shorewood, IL, Dr. Margaret E. (Brian) of St. Louis, MO, Laura J. (Jim) of Woodstock, IL, and Sr. Maria of Brazil, dear brother of Mary Knippen and the late John, James and Teresa Croswhite, devoted to ten grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A graduate of Kenyon College '53 in Ohio and the John Marshall Law School '59. He was Corporation Counsel for the City of Joliet from 1972-76 and practiced law in Joliet and Chicago until his retirement in Arizona. we have come to know and love tom. his presence at our house for irish parties and the super bowl added enormously to our pleasure.he even liked to look at my mt carmel alumni book.may he have eternal rest with our Savior.
