McMahon, Thomas J. age 80, son of the late Sophie and Sheridan McMahon, dear brother and uncle of the late Joseph (the late Kay) McMahon family, Mary (Jack Peters), Kathy (Mike Mudjer), Eileen (Ted Karamanski) and Elizabeth, the late Sheridan (Joan) McMahon family, Carrie Klima and Sheri, the late Mary (Ray) Perdue family; Jack (Betty) Perdue, Jeanne (Bill) Martin, the late Kathy (Mike) Fitzpatrick, Rishy (Quint) Studer, Sue (Kevin) Munson and Ray (Monica) Perdue, the late Dona (Gene) Bekta family; Dona Gene (Dave) Reese, Mary Pat, Jane (John Laurence), Wally (Maureen), Julie, Dan (Ann) Bekta, great-uncle to many nieces and nephews. Funeral Saturday, 11:45 a.m., from Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 W. 103rd St., Oak Lawn, to St. Linus Church for Mass at 12:30 p.m. Visitation Friday, 3 to 9 p.m. Interment Monday at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Mary of Providence Home, 4200 North Austin Ave., Chicago, IL, 60634. For information call: 708-636-1193

As families we shared all those glorious years together at Whitewater! Tom and his skipping speed boat! Tom always was a gentle giant and pillar for the McMahon family! To many things to say so I close with God Bless you! See you in heaven, and thank you so much for all the fun, family memories of Whitewater and thanksgiving dinners together as families! Love you and miss you! If I close my eyes and listen I can still hear all the familiar voices of family, laughter and of course that spring loaded porch door at Whitewater slamming shut as we all run in and out to various activities - horseshoes, baseball, swimming, walking to town through the cow pasture!
