Manicki, Thomas Funeral services for Thomas Manicki, age 82, of Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin, formerly of Chicago, will be held Monday, March 13, 2006, at 10:30 a.m., at the Conway-Picha Funeral Home In Lyndon Station, Wisconsin. Military rites will be provided by the Maurice C. Havey V.F.W. Post 5970 of Lyndon Station. Visitation will be held at Conway-Picha Funeral Home on Sunday, March 12, 2006 from 3 to 7 p.m. Thomas was born December 3, 1923 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Anthony and Catherine (nee Grawbowski) Manicki. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Thomas was a man who loved and cherished his own freedoms. Thomas is survived by his sons, David (Vi) of Downers Grove, Illinois and Phil (Fiona) of Niles, Illinois, a daughter, Louise (Paul) Masla of North Aurora, Illinois, sisters, Sally Witt of Barrington, Illinois and Loretta Guth of Elgin, Illinois; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, John, Bill and Edward, and sisters, Mary and Harriet.
