Thomas Kotlarski Obituary

Kotlarski, Thomas Francis 82, of Chicago, Illinois, passed away quietly on Friday, June 9, 2017 at the Alden Estates Nursing home in Naperville, IL. Preceded in death by a brother, John Kotlarski; a sister, MaryAnn Wasielewski, and his parents, Thomas and Elizabeth Kotlarski. He is survived by a sister, Lois (Kotlarski) Wrede, and sister-in-law, Dorothy Kotlarski. Tom was the loving uncle to David (Kelli), Laura (David), Mark (Margaret), Tricia, Eric (Kim), Carolyn (Joanna), John (Christine), Donna, Raymond, Chrissy (Scott) and loving great and great-great-ncle to many nieces and nephews. Thomas was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired from the Chicago Park District where he was a stationary engineer by trade. He also was an active member of the New Valentine Alano Club, where he helped many over the years. A celebration of Tom's life will be held Sunday, July 16th at the New Valentine Alano Club (2997 S Archer Ave., Chicago, IL 60608) from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Memorial donations can be made to the New Valentine Alano Club. His family would like to thank all his friends, family, caregivers (especially Cousin Bernadine, Wendy, and Dawn-CNA), nurses, and doctors for the wonderful care he was given.
