Thomas Green Obituary
Born in Cambridge, he was the son of Thomas E. Green Sr. of Somerville and Louise (George) Green of Malden. He was raised in Somerville and had been a resident of Lynn for the past 9 years.
He was the Chef and owner of Christopher's Café on Lewis St. for 15 years and was the reason for the success of the café. He enjoyed reading, bike riding, baking and above all, spending time with his grandchildren.
In addition to David and his parents, Tom leaves his two children, Christopher Green and his wife Elizabeth of Lynn and Rachelle Green of Malden. He was the brother of Susan Babineau and her husband Scott of Malden. Also survived by his former wife, Donna Mulcahy; two grandchildren, Jameson and Lily Green as well as one nephew, Matthew and one niece, Alyssa.
A Memorial Visitation will be held in the CUFFE-MCGINN FUNERAL HOME, 157 Maple St. Lynn on Monday from 4-6PM followed by a Memorial Service at 6:00PM. Relatives and friends invited. In lieu of flowers, gifts in his memory may be sent to Jameson & Lilith Green Education Fund c/o Century Bank 2 State St. Lynn, MA 01901.

The world will be a sad place without Tom Greens smile and beautiful eyes.
Tom was a father and son at the age of SIX. That's when I met him. Yes age six, not a type-o.
A care taker so early on, setting his life tasks.
When I see him now in my mind, I rememeber only the little boy, not the man who took on parenting of parents, fathering of a sister and of course brothering of all he encountered.
I guess we are given only so much to give and when that runs out so does our physical body.
Thank you Tom for your heart, your art and those beautiful eyes..I shall always remember you.
To your children and grandchildren and parents always remember his love for you.

I can't even begin to explain how sorry i am to all of you. When i started working at the cafe i never knew i would end up having a second family. Tom was always there for me when i was having a hard time dealing with issues with my son. He was the voice of reason and always helped me by suggesting the right thing to do. My heart is broken. I couldn't believe how much they were there for me. Things will never be the same at the cafe.
I will miss you tom so very much. My heart goes out to all of your family and friends.
