I have fond memories of working the movie detail in the '90's as a young sergeant. Tom made it happen. Always a gentleman, he will be truly missed. May his memory be eternal.

Tom is in my prayers.I still have fond memories of our years at St.Mel.Great picture in the Chicago Tribune.Looks straight from Central Casting. He could be in "Blue Bloods".

I'm sorry to hear of Tom's passing. I enjoyed working with him. He was always a gentleman. Please except my condolences.

On behalf of the Cunningham family I want to extend my condolences to the Flanagan family on loss of Tom. My Father Jim Cunningham worked with Tom in the Film office and enjoyed working with Tom on the movies. He was a dear friend to my Dad and will be missed by all who new him.

To the family of Tom Flanagan: Please accept my condolences for the loss of your brother, uncle and great-uncle. I worked with Tom and the Chicago Film Office on several films, while I was employed at the Water Department. He was always very friendly, helpful and a great person to work with. May his memory be eternal.

He was a great man and will be missed.

Dear Barney and Flanagan Family,
So saddened to have learned about Tom's passing. I always enjoyed being part of his "Movie Teams" back in the 80's.
He was a great guy and I know will be missed. And when you look into the sky tonight, you'll notice it a little brighter, as a new star has been added to the heavens above.

Jerry and Barney, this long, long part of Tom's life has ended and you can be proud of the good care you provided him throughout. Our faith tells us he knows perfect life now with our Creator, and he's at peace. I'll remember you and your family in my prayers as you try to get used to a life without your brother, Tom...a good man.

Tom's kindness and generosity will long be remembered. Years ago, when he dated my cousin Cathy, he would more than once take the other three McGrath girls out with them for dinner. We liked to travel in a pack. Thanks Tom. My symapthy to his family.
