I too, had met Tom working at Hampton's in Hollywood Ca. I had been looking for him the last few years and am saddened to hear of his passing. We hung out and listened to bootleg tapes and i helped a bit on the in the works shorter version of "The Other One."
He always would inspire me to get into entertainment, and I did. We had a great time at one of the Dead tribute shows up in the mountains! I wish I could have said hello one last time. My condolences to your family, loved ones and friends.

I don't know if I can even express the grief I feel. Occasionally I would google Tom to see what he could be up to. He was so important to me and my life changes. How did this happen? He was so creative . We worked together in LA and shared many dreams. I very much wanted to be part of his life and was honored to be in his film. He also introduced me to the "Long Necks"--my favorite band. I hope that perhaps this is not my "Tom". I have been missing him for awhile. So

Tom and I were close like brothers for a number of years after I got out of the Army. He asked me if I'd co-direct his feature film, "The Other One," and I was only too honored to do so. It was an experience that will not be forgotten. He was truly a huge hearted person of immense talent, and I'm a better person for having known him.

We'll see each other again one day, dude, I have no doubt.

Tom, I am really sad to find you have passed away. I googled you today, wondering if I could track you down. You were a dreamer, an artist, a driven professional, and a hard worker. I remember spending many nights hanging out at your place, or another, solving the worlds problems until the wee hours of the morning. We weren't the closest of friends, but I was happy and privileged to donate original music to your film, The Other One, and thank you for giving me the opportunity to be a part of your passion. You fully believed in letting people do the things they wanted to do in their lives, and supported me in making that happen.

I hope, no, I'm sure I'll get the chance to catch up with you when I pass, because you were definitely one of the good guys. I stopped by your favorite little watering hole on Highland, The Power Station (or was it The Power House) and the bartender told me you'd not been around lately, but didn't feel comfortable telling me much more. I hope your passing was painless and as comfortable as it could be. I look forward to hearing that big jovial laugh of yours in heaven, and may you always smile as you did while you were with us.

My sincere condolences to his family, who I never had the pleasure of meeting, but Tom was a truly beautiful dude, and my heart goes out to you all.

Sincerely,
Aaron Davis

Bob kept calling you over the Summer, Tom, leaving message after message. Emily went to look for you at the theatre when she was in Hollywood .....one day......one day, we kept hoping, you will call.

Only now, we find out.

But, alas we are privileged to have met you ....the memories are precious..........for with you there was always much laughter and smiles ....and what we remember most about you is the quick smile and the warm heart. Thanks for adding to our lives, the kindness - the many movies we got to watch for free .....Emily will never forget all those special event treats ......nor the tune you taught her to play on the piano the first time you came to the house........she was only four then ....we miss you Tom.

Our heartfelt sympathies to your family, particularly your nieces and nephews for we know what an'uncle' you can be..........most certainly a great uncle to our Emily.

Till we meet again. Yes, we would certainly love to when the time comes.

Bob, Wris and Emily.

Hi I met Tom many years ago working at Hamptons Hollywood Cafe. He took me under his wing and treated me like his little brother. He introduced me to many films and music. He was a beautiful person, a great mentor and a true American.

I was fortunate enough to work with him in "The Other One" and other forays in art. I did lose contact with him around 2004 and only recently spoke with him a few times on the phone we were planning a re-connect in person, sadly I will have to wait and hope I earn a spot in heaven to chat with him again.

God Bless this man and my deepest sympathies go out to his family and friends for your loss.

.Tom Cadman was quite the character. I could sit and talk to him for hours about everything and nothing. He always made me feel like I was some kind of philosophical genius, though anyone who knows me knows that isn't true. He really was a great man. He impacted my life personally, in many ways. I will miss him dearly. My condolences extend to his family and friends.
