Thomas Archer Obituary

Archer, Thomas Earl age 55, of Schaumburg (raised in Elmhurst), passed away on October 21, 2003. Tom is the beloved husband and best friend of Donna for over 30 years, and devoted father of Thomas Eric "Tommy" and Christine Megan. He is the son of the late Herman and Faith Archer, brother of the late Bill (Nancy), Bonnie (Bill Emrich), Ralph, Mike (Chris Thompson) and Jim (Debbie), son-in-law of Geraldine and the late Donald Dhamer, brother-in-law of Robin and Randy Roesslein, Don and Bonnie Dhamer, Jim and Monica Dhamer, Jerry and Cathy Dhamer. Tom is an adored uncle of many nieces and nephews. Great friend to Terry Mattia, Bob and Mary Nelson, Gil and Pam Klingberg, Tom and Pat Wilhoit and Frank and Sue Nelson. Tom was proud to serve his country in the Army during the Viet Nam war. He was a dedicated employee of the United States Post Office for nearly 30 years. Tom was a fan of the White Sox, Sunday football, cards with friends and traveling with the people he loved. Visitation Friday, 3 to 9 p.m., at the Ahlgrim & Sons Funeral Home, 330 W. Golf Rd., Schaumburg. Funeral Saturday, 8:45 a.m., to St. John the Evangelist Church, Streamwood. Mass 9:30 a.m. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to The Cancer Institute of Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove. Funeral Info: 847-882-5580.
