Baranowski, Therese P. (nee Pieczynski) Age 83, of Lansing, IL, formerly of Dolton, passed away on September 29, 2016 with her loving family by her side. She is survived by her beloved husband of 61 years, Harry; three children, Linda (Dennis) Sims of Champaign, IL, Gary (Joyce) Baranowski of Metamora, IL, and Cindy Baranowski of Crestwood, IL; five grandchildren, David, Rachel, Nathan, Ben, and Jacob; two great-grandchildren, Miles and Graham; and sisters, Rose (Dan) Plazyk and Dorothy (late Joseph) Fuss. Mrs. Baranowski was preceded in death by her son, Glenn Baranowski; and parents, Walter and Helen Pieczynski. Funeral services for Mrs. Baranowski will be held on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 beginning with Prayers at 9:30 a.m. at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Road, Lansing, IL and proceeding to St. Ann Catholic Church, 3010 Ridge Road, Lansing, IL for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian burial. Mrs. Baranowski will be laid to rest next to her son, Glenn, at Holy Cross Cemetery in Calumet City, IL. Friends are invited to visit with Mrs. Baranowski's family on Tuesday, October 4 from 3:00 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Mrs. Baranowski's name to the charity of your choice. Mrs. Baranowski had worked as a receptionist in manufacturing.
