I just wanted to send you my deepest sympathies to your family and all the friends and students lives that Ms.Rago (as I knew her)has touched. She was firm,(as we all remember with her double paddle that we all tried to hide, but she never would use it, It was more of a deterrent. She is the one teacher I always have thought about and often remembered the great lessons she taught me without me even knowing at the time. For instance when I did not know how to spell something she would say look it up in the dictionary and at the time I couldn't understand the whole thing behind that, but I do now and use it on my grandchildren all the time. Just one more thing, I used to wait on her when I was a waitress at Zum Duestchen Eck and she always had such a presence about her when I used to see her. CLASS IS JUST ONE OF THE WORDS I use to describe her.
Sincerley,

It has been a long time, but I have never forgotten the Ragos. How many fun times and meals at the Ragos sitting around the table and talking and talking.
My most sincere sympathy and parayers go to all of you who grieve so much over the loss of your dear Tess. Love to you all. Lee

So sorry to hear about the death of your sister. I was one of her and Mary Lou's students at St. Andrew's many many years ago. I was probably one of the first group to be taught by the sisters, I graduated from there in 1964, but my younger sister and two brothers also were privileged to be amongst her students. Seeing her picture brought back fond memories of our school days at St. Andrew's. I also was always impressed by Theresa's lovely clothes and slim figure as a young adolescent. All of us wanted her for a teacher, instead of the old nuns. I was near the funeral home yesterday but couldnt find a parking space. Glad to see so many people were able to come. God bless all of you and your family.
