Rizzo, Theresa M. "Terry" (nee Vaicunas) 88, retired Registered Nurse of 40 plus years; beloved wife of the late Antony M. Rizzo; cherished daughter of the late Joseph and late Mary Vaicunas; loving mother of Judith (Dwight) O'Brien, Mark (Catherine), Marita (Scott) Pope and Carlo (Cindy Hurckes); devoted grandmother of Christopher (fiancée Lauren Grabstanowicz), Kevin, Kirsten, Genevieve, Natalie and Nicole; fond sister of the late Joseph (late Helen) Vaicunas and late Helen (late Albert) Statkus; dear sister-in-law of late Mary (late Ernest) Favaro and Donald, Sr. (late Ida) Lippo; dearest Godmother, aunt, cousin and friend of many. Visitation Monday, October 12, 2015, 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at KURATKO-NOSEK FUNERAL HOME, (Mark A. Rizzo, Director), 2447 South DesPlaines Ave., North Riverside. Funeral Tuesday, October 13, starting with prayers from the funeral home at 9:30 a.m., going in procession to St. Anthony of Padua Church, Cicero, for 10:30 a.m. Mass. Entombment Christ the King Mausoleum, Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside, IL. Terry was past President of the Catholic Daughters and a Choir member of St. Anthony Church. She worked for over 20 years as the Town of Cicero's Parochial School nurse, as well as a Precinct Captain. She also enjoyed her family, playing canasta with her fellow nurses, going to the casino, swimming, gardening and travel, especially to Walt Disney World with her family.
