Theodore Twarog Obituary
Twarog, Rev. Theodore "Ted" S. beloved son of the late Stanley and Rose (nee Niemiec), dearest brother of the late Edward and Stanley. After serving as Head of the Philosophy Department and Rector of the Seminary in the San Diego Diocese, Father Ted served the German, Polish, Spanish, and English communities for over 35 years at St. Alphonsus, St. James, St. Ladislaus, and other churches in Chicago. Visitation Sunday, January 4, 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Baran Funeral Home, 2644-46 North Central Ave. Lying in state at St. James Church 5730 West Fullerton Ave. Monday, January 5, 9:00 a.m. until time of mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Interment Maryhill Cemetery. Fr. Ted has been missed by parishioners at St. Ladislaus and now that God has taken him home, we will miss running into him in the neighborhood and remember him fondly.
