Dear Laura and family - What a treat it was when your Dad came to visit you in Medford! It meant we, your friends, were treated to a terrific meal at a restaurant far nicer than any of us could have afforded on our student budgets. I will remember the generosity always, Leslie Loftus Blanke

I worked for Ted Pincus as an account executive at the Financial Relations Board in Chicago in the mid-1980's. He was a kind, intelligent, friendly man and a good boss. Ted and I shared a love of jazz. Although I haven't seen Ted since I moved to California 25 years, I'll never forget him. Rest in peace, Ted.

I met Mr. Pincus when I was young, and yet he struck me as so creative and so progressive. He hired me twice at the Financial Relations Board and I left twice because the work wasn’t a good fit for me. Despite my limited exposure to him, I have always remembered his energy and curiosity. There can be no doubt that he left his mark on investment communications. My sympathies for your loss.

Theodore, in so many ways you were truly, "one of a kind." You pioneered so many communications initiatives that helped make investor relations for public companies, a truly meaningful way for shareholders, the public and other audiences to understand and analyze corporate America. In that respect you were well ahead of your peers in getting the "real message" out for all stakeholders.

More importantly, you were a great friend and a tremendous boss. Your were also a great patron of the arts and an influential advocate for so many valued cultural and socio-economic endeavors.

You will be missed. I am sure the Good Lord eagerly anticipated your arrival; however, please don't overwhelm him with a myriad of ways to "improve his (or her) image. Give him some time to digest the package and I'm sure he'll implement the plan.

Ted, our best to your family. Rest well, dear friend.
