Theodore Olbrecht Obituary
Theodore "Ted" Olbrecht, 73, passed away on December 23, 2021. He was a beloved son of Julie Ann, née Sniechowski, 101 years old; loving father to Michelle (Daniel Franco), James and Michael Olbrecht; treasured grandfather to Cody Olbrecht and Daniel Franco IV; Helen Olbrecht his former wife; fond uncle to many nieces and nephews. Ted graduated from Gage Park class of 1964. He worked at Certified Grocers Midwest & was a union member of the Teamsters 703 for 30 years. He attended Midway Flight School, enjoyed writing short stories and computer restoration. He will be remembered for his generosity to others including many charities. Visitation will be Sunday, January 2, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Ridge Funeral Home, 6620 West Archer Ave, Chicago, IL 60638. Prayers will occur Monday, January 3, 2022 at 8:30 AM at Ridge Funeral Home, to St. Albert the Great Church for 9:30 am Funeral Mass 5555 State Rd, Burbank, IL . Services conclude at church. I just heard about Teddy's passing. I am so sorry to hear that. Though Eddie and I were the same age, we looked at Teddy as that bothersome little kid. I will never forget that on one trip back to Clinton Indiana, Teddy sang one song over and over to pass the time away, much to all of our chagrin. My prayers go with all of you at this time.
