I'll always remember and aspire to Ted's no-nonsense and yet positive attitude. I met Ted about 10 years ago one day when he brought his car into Heritage Cadillac for service. I'd heard he had been buying and servicing his cars there for years before but we never met until after I was there a few years. Not long after we met he became more of a friend first than a customer. We would go to lunch on the days he brought his car in and he'd tell me stories about his experiences in WWII and later when he was in business. Sometimes he'd go to the race track and tell me how he did. He said he had a “system” but he never told me what it was. He always had an opinion on the current political situation or the president. It was obvious he loved his wife Mary very much and often spoke with pride of his sons. It seemed to me Ted lived life long and well. I was lucky to have known him. God Bless you Ted.

Mary, Lance, Wayne & Misako - you were truly blessed. There is an empty spot in your life now - but not in your hearts. I don't think that anything Ted did in his life was to make himself more important or more liked - but to help others, teach them, make them reach their full potential. When my parents celebrated their 50th anniversary - Ted & Mary celebrated their 60th. They looked as much in love as I imagine they did on their wedding day. A few yrs. ago we were at St. Barbara's SummerFest & they were talking with us & the priest when the d.j. started a song that made them decide to dance. I watched them dance & thanked God for them & seeing them enjoying each other's company. It is a treasure for children to have parents who love each other so - Lance & Wayne & Misako - again I say you were truly blessed. And Mary - you completed Ted's life & he completed yours.

Tadju was a kind sweet man with a warm welcoming smile. Growing up I can say I looked forward to seeing him sweeping the yard with Mary & getting a chance to talk to them... giving Ted a break from holding the bag!
I was glad to be there for them when they needed me.
It was touching to be a part of their lives..seeing the love they shared.
Tadju ..I miss you...but I know if there's a golf course in heaven you're probably on the back nine.
Love,
Linda

Ted was a GREAT guy who was a competitor of mine in the Grocery business for many years.Ted was one of the nicest people I ever met and it was always a pleasure to see him at Central Grocers in previous years or at Central's annual Banquet.Ted and his wife Mary were meant for each other as they were so close and improved the lives of the people that they new. Life will not be the same on this earth without him. The horses at the track will miss him as well as the people at the windows.

Ted was a great business friend at Central Grocery, a hockey buddy and a great guy to spend time with. I haven't seen him in years but have missed him and now is the time to say goodbye.

Ted was truly a wonderful person. I was fortunate to live next to him growing up. My fondest memories will always be of him bringing me cookies. I have always loved cookies and Ted worked for a company that made cookies and he always took care of me!
Ted was a great person and will be truly missed.
