Roy,
After reading all these entries of heartfelt sadness, it seems like that all has been said. Terry was not only a co-worker, but my friend. We would have heart to heart talks about life and that's what I will miss the most. It took this long to write because I couldn't bear to accept this is reality. God has his Angel now and I know she is still with all of us. I bet she's up there with Walter Payton and even though she had season tickets to the Bears, she now has the best seat in the house. I love you Terry - you will forever be in my heart.

Dear Roy,
It is with such great sadness that I write this. We are still very much in shock at the passing of Terri and you have our sincerest sympathies on the loss of such a beautiful and wonderful person. Since reconnecting with both of you, we have come to realize what a truly special person Terri was. We were very fortunate to be able to share such great times with both of you by either going to dinner, your famous block parties or spending New Years Eve together. We will cherish those memories and friendship always. Please know that you are in our prayers as you go through this very difficult time. You are like family to us and we will always be here for you for whatever you need.
Love, Val, Rich, Ryan and Michael

Dear Roy,
Terry was my sister of the heart and I am devastated by her untimely death. We've been friends since second grade and the friendship continued to grow through the years. I admired her immensely and relished the friendship we shared.
The four of us had many good times together and even went on vacation together. While memories are all that we have left of her they are memories to make us smile.
Roy, know that Steve and I both care for you deeply and that you can depend on us for anything. May God send his angels to comfort you now and in the future.
With Love, Rae and Steve

Family of Teresa Metcalf,
Teresa only visited the 3M Aberdeen facility once, and it is amazing that a person can become a friend in only 4 days. Everyone at our plant enjoyed working with Teresa, and she will be missed. Our prayers are with the Metcalf family during this difficult time.

With all the words in this world, "my sympathy" and "my prayers" simply don't cover this loss. Terry was not only our auditor, she became an instant friend the day I met her. She was a passionate professional with a logical, common sense approach. I will miss her. Her smile will be my memory. My deepest sympathy to you Roy, family and friends. Blessings to all.

Roy and family,
My deepest sympathy to you and your family. I got to know Terry over the last few years when she audited our Mason City Plant. She had a warm smile and was always so very pleasant. She generated a calming effect as she audited. I will miss some of the fun emails she sent me. One of the last things she talked about on Thursday after she completed an audit in my area, was the summer block parties you and she hosted and the fun you had each year. She mentioned you (Roy) often in her trips sharing fun times you two had. I will be thinking of you during this difficult time and as long as she remains in your heart, she will never be far away.
Take care

My deepest sympathy to you and your family. Teresa had conducted several UL audits at our facility here at 3M Menomonie. She was a great auditor and made everyone feel at ease during the audit. She had just conducted an UL audit at our facility on Oct. 27. She was excited for the surprise party she had planned on Saturday at her home. When I said good-bye and wished her a safe drive home Friday afternoon, she said she would be back again in April. We will miss not seeing her here again. With sympathy, the SF&C department, 3M Menomonie

To the Metcalf family,
You have my deepest sympathy regarding your loss. I was a fellow auditor with Teresa at UL and worked on a number of audits with her and I always learned something new each time. Her expertise and auditing style will be greatly missed at UL. All of her clients that I have talked to over the years had nothing to say but good things about her. In closing, Teresa was a friend and co-worker that I will always remember!

Terry served as the account manager for the Automotive Quality Management Systems between her employer Underwriters Labs and the 3M Company. I was one of the people that Terry worked closely with at the 3M Company. I am personally saddened by your loss, and ours. Terry was a beacon of knowledge which she dispensed fairly and intelligently. We at the 3M Company feel that we have lost an outstanding resource, an exceptional auditor, and a wonderful person.
On behalf of myself and the 3M Company you have our sincere and deepest sympathies.

Terry was my best friend in the late 70s working at IGT. I was a country girl in a big, scary city when she took me under her wing. She was such a great mentor. She taught me so much about life, work, and living in the city. Smart, loving, and honest are just a few words to describe the beautiful person that she was. My heart aches for Roy and Honor and the rest of her family. My deepest sympathy to all. I will always remember Terry Creely Metcalf. Goodbye dear friend. I love you.
