I have had the privilege of knowing Stanton and his family for more than 40 years. He and my father both attended St. Marks and Yale together. As a family during Spring vacation my family traveled to Boca Grande for vacation where would frequently see the Armour family. They were great friends of my parents and, I am saddened by Stanton's passing. I will always appreciate his straight forwardness, his business acumen and most of all humor.
My very best to Mrs. Armour, Audrey and Tony.
Bill, Polly and the entire Aldrich family.

Ever since I heard, I have done nothing but sit at my computer and try to learn more about one of the quietest, yet loudest man I have ever met. The times that stick out the most to me are the times we shared together, just him and me up in Huron Mountain. I know it didn't amuse him much, but he would sit by the edge of the river while I would show him some new motorized boat.. And for that half hour he made me feel like one of the guys, like no one in the world was as happy as we.
Sitting in the great room, listening to the stories of all the African adventures. I remember thinking to myself, I hope that I can leave such an imprint!!! To me he will live for ever, in the hearts and minds of all he touched. Thank You!!

Jean and Children,
You are in my prayers and have my heartfelt condolences. I met Stan (and Jean) as a staff member of RGS and came to know him during our board and other meetings. Stan was always a great supporter of RGS and I am blessed by knowing him. I wish I could be there for the Memorial but I just found out about his passing.

Stan was a wonderful, sweet man. I had the
pleasure of knowing & working with him while at Mitchell, Hutchins from 1967 to 1973.Condolences to all, especially Jean.
