Sylvia Swalec Obituary

Swalec, Sylvia Mary (nee Grozav), age 86, of New Lenox for 4 years, formerly of Calumet Park, passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2006. She was a member of St. Isidore Women's Club in Blue Island. She is survived by her loving family, her husband Stanley Swalec Sr; a son Daniel (Sandra) Swalec; a daughter Judith (George) Redican; a brother Val "Bud" (Joan) Grozav; a sister-in-law Diane Swalec; 13 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Victoria (nee Haberski) Grozav; a son Stanley Swalec Jr. and two sisters Rosanne Tychewicz and Dorothy Manus. family will receive friends at the Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL, 60423 Friday, March 3, 2006 from 2 until 8 p.m. Funeral Saturday, March 4, 2006 10 a.m. in the funeral home.
