Rosenbaum, Sylvia (nee Freeman), beloved wife of the late Martin, loving mother of Carl (Joanne) and Larry (Myrna), proud grandmother of Kevin (Marianne), Lonna (Jerry) Szydlowski, Debra (Jim) Bland, Julia Rietz, Todd (Marjorie) and Tracey (Matt) Ristow, adored great-grandmother of ten, dear sister of the late Theda (the late Frank) Marcus, loving aunt and great-aunt of many. Funeral Thursday, 10 a.m., at The Weinstein Family Services Wilmette Chapel, 111 Skokie Blvd. (one blk north of Old Orchard). Interment Shalom Memorial Park, Arlington Heights. Dear Uncle Carl, Larry & families: I am so sorry to learn of Sylvia's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

My 2 favorite memories of Sylvia are: bringing us crazy puppets from an Acapulco trip and a very funny (but naughty) joke at the Thanksgiving dinner table which Sylvia cried laughing over!

Now she's reunitied with Marty & at peace. Thank God. With love, Kelly

to my aunt sissy she was something else through all these years from my earliest memories on pratt avenue to rock concerts and flipside records to now and i know for sure uncle marty and my dad know the vacation is over aunt sissy is on her way. i and barb will always love her and miss her.
