Sydney Morgenstern Obituary
Morgenstern, Dr. Sydney H. 75, of Glencoe, beloved husband of 47 years to Barbara (nee Weisman), loving father of Jordan (Jill), Mark (Laurie) and Susan (Richard) Garbutt, adoring grandfather of Ben Keelin, Doran, Chandler, Colin, Julia and Erika Garbutt, adored brother of Rae (Irving) Kaplan and Dr. Michael (Robin), cherished son of the late Rabbi David Solomon and Eva, devoted son-in-law to Phyllis (the late Henry) Weisman, uncle of Kathy Weber, Stacey Morgenstern, Lisa Melnick, Jackie Kaplan and Kevin, Keith Dixler, brother-in-law of Rosalie (Joseph) Dixler. Funeral services Sunday, 11:30 a.m., at The Weinstein Family Services Wilmette Chapel, 111 Skokie Blvd. (one block north of Old Orchard). Interment Westlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to the American Diabetes Association, 30 N. Michigan Ave., Chicago, IL 60602. To my very good friend and buddy Doctor Mike and your wife Robin. I would like to extend my condolences to you and your family. Mike you and your brother are like family to me. We have had many GOOD times together and that is what we must remember the GOOD times. I am sad to hear that Sydney has left us but he is in a better place now.
