Susan Salazar-Marx Obituary

Salazar-Marx, Susan Another beautiful soul has left this earth on the 25th of June. Susan Salazar-Marx was born in Chicago, IL to parents, Rosaura Robles and Steven Salazar on September 20, 1948. "Susie", well known as the girl with the blonde hair and the eldest of four siblings grew up on the tough streets of Chicago. Although of meager beginnings, Susie lived life to the fullest and made the world a better place for all who happened upon her presence. She had a way of making you smile and seeing the best in all people. In June of 1968, Susan married her high school sweetheart, Wesley L. Marx. They moved west to Utah and began their wonderful journey until Wesley's demise in October of 2012. Along the way, the Marx Family grew to include six children, and a business venture which later produced the East Meadow Care Center of Springville, Utah. Through values instilled early in Susan's life, a tradition of compassion and kindness towards the care of the elderly ensued. Even after the selling of the East Meadow Care Center, Susan continued to show her compassion and generosity through volunteer work, while providing the best possible life for her children. Susan is survived by children, Julie Marx, Stacy Marx, Daniel Marx, Suzanne (Aaron) Frye, Ben Marx and many grandchildren. Susan also leaves behind two brothers, Abie Vasquez Jr. and David Robles. We love you, we'll miss you; until we meet again. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for the consideration of organ donation. Service to be held at: Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 3200 E. 91st St., Chicago, IL, July 18th 9:30 a.m.
