Kurt and family; I am very, very sorry for you loss. I met Susan online years ago. She was always so kind and helpful to me. She was always funny and insightful. A very talented and loving woman who will be missed for years and years to come. The only way for me to deal with this, is to believe that she is one of the angels watching over us all until we see her again. Bless you and your family.

Hi Kurt,

I want you to know Mario and I are thinking about you often. We miss Susan. She looked so great the last time I saw her, and I will always hold that memory.

Susan was a good friend of mine from childhood. We hung out after school in Somerset and also went skiing in Junior High. I am shocked to hear of her passing and send my sympathies to her family. She was a very thoughtful and kind friend. I'm so sorry for your loss. Sincerely, Lisa Stendel

I am so sorry for the loss of Susan. She and I would chat about shopping and girlie stuff like that online. She was a very giving woman and those that knew her were blessed.She had a joix de vivre and it made people smile when they saw her. Many times we chatted about purses and shoes and clothes lol.Such good times.I am so sorry for your loss and all of you are in my prayers.

It is rare to meet someone who brought smiles and laughter wherever she went. Susan was always so kind and thoughtful. I feel very blessed to have known her.

My condolences to Kurt and all your family members. I knew Susan as the consummate hostess of the Park Place pool. She invited me into her group when I first moved into the neighborhood, made me welcome, and introduced me to her wonderful circle of friends and family. She was a great person and will always be remembered for her fun personality and genuine warmth.

I am so very sorry for this tragic loss. Susan always went out of her way to make everyone feel welcome. Prior to meeting Susan, I didn't go to the pool much mainly due to not knowing anyone. Once I met her, I always felt welcome to come by her & Kurt's cabanna - and knew it would be very fun!! She'll be missed in the extreme by so many people. My heart goes out to Kurt, Danielle, Geoffrey, and the rest of her family.

It was just last Saturday that we were all hanging out at the pool joking, and swapping stories about events, and things that all of us have been doing recently.

Five years ago, Susan was the first person who reached out and made me feel welcomed when I moved into Park Place. We have been friends ever since.

Sorrow is an emotion difficult to associate with any thing related to Susan. Her abscence from our collective conscienceness is as incongruous a breeze void of air.
