Kurt and family; I am very, very sorry for you loss. I met Susan online years ago. She was always so kind and helpful to me. She was always funny and insightful. A very talented and loving woman who will be missed for years and years to come. The only way for me to deal with this, is to believe that she is one of the angels watching over us all until we see her again. Bless you and your family.

Susan was a good friend of mine from childhood. We hung out after school in Somerset and also went skiing in Junior High. I am shocked to hear of her passing and send my sympathies to her family. She was a very thoughtful and kind friend. I'm so sorry for your loss. Sincerely, Lisa Stendel

Dear Kurt & Family,
I am so sorry for your loss.
I had only known Susan for a few years, but she always made me feel like family on my summer visits to the pool with Kevin.
We always had great conversations about what our families were doing and she was so proud of her children.
Everyone will miss her.

It was such a pleasure knowing Susan over the last several years and I am so sad to hear about her passing away. Words cannot say how much I will miss seeing her by the pool every summer. Both Kurt and Susan were so caring and welcoming to my friends and myself. Your family is in my thoughts.

Kurt and Family,

I am deeply sorry for your loss of a wife, mother, and friend.

Susan always made me feel welcomed into your home with an ease unparalleled by anyone else. Her sense of style, taste, humor, and graciousness is a memory I will always cherish and hold myself to.

Emblazened in my mind are the days at the pool and her many, many friends both new and old.

My thoughts and prayers are with you always.

My condolences to Kurt and all your family members. I knew Susan as the consummate hostess of the Park Place pool. She invited me into her group when I first moved into the neighborhood, made me welcome, and introduced me to her wonderful circle of friends and family. She was a great person and will always be remembered for her fun personality and genuine warmth.

Kurt & Susan's family & friends:
I am so very sorry for this tragic loss. Susan always went out of her way to make everyone feel welcome. Prior to meeting Susan, I didn't go to the pool much mainly due to not knowing anyone. Once I met her, I always felt welcome to come by her & Kurt's cabanna - and knew it would be very fun!! She'll be missed in the extreme by so many people. My heart goes out to Kurt, Danielle, Geoffrey, and the rest of her family.

Kurt & Family, we are so very very sorry for your loss. We will miss Susan dearly. Nothing could have prepared us for this shock. Your family is in our prayers.

It was just last Saturday that we were all hanging out at the pool joking, and swapping stories about events, and things that all of us have been doing recently.

Five years ago, Susan was the first person who reached out and made me feel welcomed when I moved into Park Place. We have been friends ever since.

Susan we love you, and miss you terribly.

Susan we miss you. The coming days will be difficult for your family and friends.

To the Rieurs, the Morses and the Lerchers...all the families that were in Susan's brief life...including the Mirkins, from her mother's side of life:

We join you in the sorrow and sadness that have consumed us all by Susan's much too early passing.

We who live on the West Coast have seen too little of all of the rest of her family and loved ones. Yet we miss her and join you in sweet memory of her life among us all.

Kurt and Family:

I am so sorry for what happened. It's a loss that cannot be comprehended or understood for such a vital and young person. I've know her since she was a toddler. Too bad that we didn't see one another
because of the distance that separated us. My family joins me in our loss and know that her memory will always be in our hearts.

Sorrow is an emotion difficult to associate with any thing related to Susan. Her abscence from our collective conscienceness is as incongruous a breeze void of air. My heart goes out to all of us who knew and and almost instantly loved her. Most especially to Kurt, Danielle and Geoffrey and all the Rieurs.
