Gazzola, Susan

Susan Gazzola, 74, of St. Charles, IL, passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2023. She was born in Chicago to the late Theodore and Rosalie Stanko, and was the beloved wife of Orlando (Lou) Gazzola. Susan was a lover of greyhounds, and had an incomparable green thumb. Susan was the loving mother of Sean (Garron) Merle, and the cherished grandmother of Harper and Caden. She is preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Rosalie Stanko, and is survived by brothers Theodore Jr. and Ken Stanko. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 from 10:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. at Chapel Hill Gardens West Funeral Home, 17W201 Roosevelt Rd, Oakbrook Terrace, IL 60181, with a funeral service at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at Assumption cemetery in Wheaton.
